Children’s Ministry Leader Job Posting

 

We are a growing contemporary Nazarene Church located in Freeland and we are looking for an energetic person to lead our expanding children’s ministry.   This is a part time position and we are looking for an individual that can meet the following requirements: 

 

The Children’s Ministry Leader…….

 

·        Needs to be a Christian.

·        Needs a passion for Children’s ministry and can make a commitment to the program.

·        Should have previous experience running, or working in a Children’s ministry.

·        Will develop strategies for the Children’s ministry.

·        Will plan and organize the Children’s curriculum.

·        Will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a budget for the Children’s ministry.

·        Will organize and schedule helpers (and fill in as needed).

·        Will rotate as a leader through the different classes.

·        Will inspire the helpers, inspire the children, and inspire their parents.

·        Will plan and organize out-reach activities (i.e., VBS, events in the Park, trailer park outreach, sports zone, etc.).

·        Will help build relationships within the Freeland community (it our goal to have our Children’s Ministry be an evangelism/out-reach tool to the community).

 

 

Our current classes and average attendance is noted below:

 

  • Infant – 2 year old (4 children)
  • Pre- KK (8-10 children)
  • Lower Elem (5-7 children)
  • Upper Elem (10-12 children)
  • Youth Group (15 children)
